About Facials...

For best results, it's recommended to have at least 1 facial per month. Clients with light to moderate acne, hyperpigmentation and sun damage may  benefit better with bi-weekly facials.

While most cases of acne can be successfully treated with our clinical treatments, more severe grades of acne should be managed by a dermatologist/doctor first to make sure your acne is not an internal factor. In some cases acne can be caused by a reaction to certain medications, allergic reactions from vitamin supplements, anabolic steroids, certain foods or hormonal changes. In this case an antibiotic prescribed by your doctor can help cure the acne and not a topical treatment.

Practicing a proper skin regimen at home is vital in maintaining healthy skin. Home care, diet, stress, life-style and budget are all taken into consideration when designing a treatment plan for you.

Using top quality skin care products, we will ensure that each client experiences a customized facial that leaves the skin looking and feeling beautiful. We combine botanically based products and cutting edge clinical treatments giving clients both immediate and long lasting results.

For people prone to break-outs: You may notice a few blemishes after having a facial. This is because during extractions, the oils and toxins have been brought up to the surface of the skin, purging the pores of whiteheads and blackheads. Breakouts should clear up within a few days.  Scheduled visits for facials and proper care at home will lessen the chances of acne.

For gentlemen, please shave two hours before your facial treatment.

Aromatherapy & Lymphatic Drainage Facial  $65-1 hr

This holistic facial is a very relaxing treatment, as it concentrates on the upper body, neck and face. Because essential oils have penetrative properties, this makes an excellent choice to incorporate into this facial routine.

After cleansing, steaming, extractions and masking, a manual lymphatic drainage massage to the face helps clear the blockages, eliminates excess fluid, metabolic wastes and toxins from the body.

When the lymphatic system becomes blocked, lymphatic fluid builds up and stagnates, causing the entire system to become toxic.  By massaging certain pressure points, the facial muscle tissue is stimulated and the whole body will respond to treatment. Finger pressure on the facial meridians and pressure points also helps to release any blockages in the body's energy flow. Great for relieving sinus pressure and puffiness around eyes.

Euro Facial $65-1 hr

This facial is a customized treatment that includes a personal skin analysis and product recommendations. Also involves deep cleansing, exfoliation, steaming, extractions to rid skin of blackheads/whitehead, and a customized enzyme masque to help refine pores.

Concludes with a relaxing upper body massage. For a more clinical treatment to address fine lines, age spots or hyperpigmentation, we recommend this facial with a customized chemical peel or microdermabrasion treatment.

Acne-B-Gone Clarifying Facial-$75 1 hr

Say good-bye to stubborn acne for good. This facial includes deep pore cleansing, exfoliation, and steaming to purge out toxins from skin.  Next, a clarifying mask treatment is applied followed by extractions and an acne lift-off masque to dry acne pustules. This is followed by a high frequency treatment to aid in the reduction of acne causing bacteria. The result is healthier, clearer skin that radiates and glows.

To combat light to moderate acne, a series of 4-6 treatments is recommended along with specific home care for best and continued results.  Not recommended for clients with sulfur allergies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which  products are right for my skin condition?

A: We have many choices of skincare and treatments depending upon your skin condition. Scheduling an appointment for a skin analysis and facial are the best ways to determine which products are best for your skin condition.

Q: What actually happens during my facial treatment?

A: A thorough analysis is performed and a treatment plan is created by us when you arrive for your facial. The basic facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, steam, extraction, massage, masque, and an appropriate sunblock application. Other treatments can be added for a more extensive treatment.

Q: Can't I just use soap and water to cleanse my face?

A: Washing your face with soaps such as Dial, Zest, Irish Spring, etc. are not specifically designed for cleaning the delicate tissues of the face.  These soaps can be harsh and can destroy the skin's PH level making it more available for infection, dryness and a lack of luster. Having the correct home care designed for you skin type is essential to having clear glowing skin. We can determine which products are appropriate for you through a complimentary skincare consultation.

Helpful Tip:

Rinsing your face with water after cleaning will not thoroughly and completely remove all traces of product, make up, oil and impurities. It is very important to go back over your cleansed face with an appropriate toner for your skin type.  This will neutralize the skin's PH level and pick up any residual makeup and cleanser that was left behind after your washing.  Doing this step will make a huge difference in the clarity and tone of your skin.

Q: My skin is very oily, do I need a moisturizer?

A: Yes. Everyone, no matter how oily their skin, needs a daytime (with SPF) and nighttime moisturizer. Healthy skin requires a delicate balance of both water and oil. Even if your skin produces excess oil you still need to replenish the water in the skin and keep it hydrated. A deficiency of water will typically lead to an overproduction of oil which would worsen your condition. Choose a daytime SPF product designed for oily skin, as well as a non-oily or oil free nighttime moisturizer for best results.

Q: Does Tan and Darker Skin Need To Use Sunscreen?

A: Yes all skin needs sunscreen. One of the most popular complaints with darker skin is uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. Without the daily use of sunscreen the dark spots continue to get darker when exposed to UV Rays, and there are UV rays present year round (even on cloudy, cold days).

Q: At what age should my son/daughter start using skincare products and treatments?

A: Preteens should start doing a basic home care routine. Additional products and treatments can be  added as puberty sets in since many hormonal changes have an affect on the skin.

Q: What is the difference between professional skincare products sold in a salon and drugstore brands?

A: It is always better to have an esthetician who has analyzed your skin suggest the correct home care products for you. Walking into a store and reading labels can be misleading and confusing. A professional can advise you on what specifically will target your concern and will correct the problem to achieve the results you are expecting.

Q: Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?

A: Laser Hair Removal is FDA approved for Permanent Hair reduction. On average it takes between 6-8 treatments to achieve a 90-100% reduction, however most clients do have to return for touch-ups to maintain the permanent reduction.
If a female has abnormal facial hair growth it is usually due to a heightened testosterone level (male hormone). In this case the female usually has to return for touch-ups 1-2 times a year after completing the initial 6-8 treatments.
